Why a newsletter?

I have a lot of creative friends who are always working on cool stuff. Because of how social media is these days, the only way to get your posts seen is by trying to adapt to ever-changing algorithm rules made by soulless digital dorks.

I thought maybe it would be nice to have an alternative--a monthly newsletter that treats you to an assortment of projects, both in progress and completed. Anything that you worked on and feel like showing off! Maybe even things that didn't work out but you learned something from. Hell, maybe even any cool resources you bump into that might be helpful to others!

So show off a demo of a song you just recorded, a painting, a sketch, a doodle, a paragraph from a short story, a poem, a dance, or something you crocheted. It's not about being the best, it's about having fun and staying creative.

I'll always have my own share of updates, from tattoo flash to paintings and stickers, maybe even some writing on occasion.

I hope that this will be something that keeps us all excited and inspired. And even if you're not an artsy person yourself, maybe this is a way to find new people whose work you enjoy!

So often the fun of creativity gets buried by all of the chaos of the social media sphere. And maybe this is a way to do it differently. Let's see how it goes!
