The Dawn of a New Era (Hopefully)

Well folks, it's finally happened. I have given up on social media (in a sense) and am trying to expand my horizons in a way that will help me untether myself from soulless algorithms. I've been wary of using a website to achieve this, since my main use for social media is keeping in touch with my friends and I don't think a website leaves room for that same level of back-and-forth. But truthfully, because of these algorithms, most of my friends weren't seeing what I was up to anyway and vice versa.

So here we are, in a new place that I hope to use for sharing what I'm working on without the added pressure of "also if you want people to see this, you need to film a video using this specific song you hate and also show your face in it and probably do some dance."

I plan on remaining present on certain social media platforms, but only on my terms. I am sick of them being another chore I have to deal with. I want to just spend my time doing things I enjoy as much as possible, and to be honest, campaigning for online followers was something I lost interest in many years ago.

Hopefully this will be the fun version of that--a place for me to keep you posted on what's happening behind the scenes (and for me to be able to look back at previous projects and enjoy the journey). I hope to show off all kinds of stuff here--sketches, tattoo flash, video game projects, writing, you name it. I want it to be a fun place to just look at stuff.

I don't know, I guess this is just my way of trying to reshape how I navigate the digital world. We'll see what comes of it!
